An absolutely beautiful 1991 original watercolor by Shirley Stockman. It features a great scene of a bull elk looking back from a rocky ledge, set against a misty, atmospheric winter forest. The detail on the elk is impressive, especially the way the artist handled the textures of the rock and the soft, foggy trees in the background.
The piece is housed in a dark wood frame that really makes the colors pop, finished with a grey mat. It’s signed "Stockman © 91" on the front, and interestingly, the artist also hand-signed the paper backing. It still has the original gallery label from Earth, Wind & Rain Gallery out of Lynden, WA. This is a solid, well-preserved piece of Pacific Northwest wildlife art.

Excellent condition with no fading or moisture damage. The glass is clear and free of cracks. The dark wood frame is structurally sound, showing only minor vintage wear and light surface scuffs consistent with age.
