Paratrooper Vietnam Era Silk Embroidered Helicopter Battle Trench Art Handmade

This listing is for a very unique Vietnam war era item. This is a hand embroidered battle scene with a white Huey helicopter at the top and a soldier rappelling down from it and two other troops already on the ground. They are all carrying M16s so they must be American troops. It's strange that the helicopter is white but I guess they may not have had enough OD green or gray thread at hand to make this. The thread appears to be silk based on the shininess of it. There are no marking on the face of the image as to who made it or when and the back of the frame is sealed with paper and I don't really want to remove it to check. The frame measures about 18 3/4 inches square and it will be shipped in a much larger box to ensure that it is not damaged in shipment.
