The F50 was introduced as the successor to the F40, a limited-edition car released to commemorate Ferrari's 40th anniversary.
Based on the concept of "an F1 car on public roads," it features a 4.6-liter V12 engine for F1 cars in the center of a carbon composite monocoque body, just like an F1 car. The real car's roof is removable, but Hot Wheels has recreated the closed state with a new mold in a body-integrated molding. The star-patterned silver-painted wheels and the vividly printed lights are also noteworthy.
