Vintage Thonet-style bentwood stool with a floral tapestry upholstered seat. The curved beechwood base has that iconic interlocking loop design that's been popular since the 1800s, finished in a rich walnut tone. The seat features a cream and green botanical tapestry with burgundy and gold gimp trim around the edge.
Measures approximately 15 inches across the seat and stands 16 inches tall.
A great fit for grandmillennial, cottagecore, Victorian, or eclectic boho spaces. Super versatile – use it as a vanity stool, ottoman, footrest, plant stand, or small side table. Also works well as MCM accent seating if you're mixing mid-century modern with traditional pieces. Sturdy and solid, no wobble.
One small stitch is loosening on the trim (see photos) but it's barely noticeable and likely an easy fix if you're handy with a needle.
Estimated mid-century, likely 1950s-1970s. Great vintage condition overall with normal wear consistent with age.
