GIGLI Red Brown Jeans with Gradation Lining (D'URBAN License)

This is a pair of denim pants from the Japanese license period of GIGLI / D'URBAN, which were sold in Japan in the late 90s to early 2000s.

The fabric color is not just brown, but a deep "red brown" that includes burgundy. The appearance changes depending on the light and angle, giving it a very dimensional color.

The biggest feature is the vibrant gradient-dyed lining that appears when the hem is rolled up. To take advantage of this design, I never had the hem altered from the time of purchase, and wore it with the original length.

I only wore it on special occasions, and the number of times it was washed was extremely low for its age. Therefore,

This is a pair that you rarely see now, and you can feel the mode feel unique to the 90s to early Y2K era and the careful craftsmanship that is typical of Japanese-made products.
