The Pre Montreal was created in 1973 for the Montreal Olympics challenge of "Steve Roland Prefontaine," a legendary athlete and the top disciple of Nike running founder Bill Bowerman. The original featured a spike-style tooling for competition, which has been updated with a waffle sole.
This model features a retro combination upper with a vintage wash finish, and the use of eco-rubber soles takes environmental issues into consideration.
