The stitching in various areas incorporates a meandering (YOROKE) stitch, resulting in a distinctive design.

Even the remaining threads at the finishing points, which are usually automatically cut by machine, are intentionally left, requiring the extra effort of manual thread trimming.

The sewing difficulty is also extremely high, and there are hardly any workshops in Japan that will accept this design, making it a challenge for technicians. However, it's an item where you can feel the attention to detail.

As it also depends on the craftsman's discretion, no two are exactly alike.

In old Japanese architecture, there was a practice of leaving unfinished parts to allow for future growth.

This original shirt is inspired by that spirit.

The fabric is a "Mitsumoku Check" made by twisting three different colored threads into one color. It has a wool tweed-like appearance and a soft, voluminous texture.
