This is a classic Tessar lens made around 1919-1920, approximately 100 years old.
You can enjoy the unique rendering of a pre-war original Tessar.
No significant mold or haze on the glass (condition appropriate for its age).
Comes with a custom-made lens board for Toyo View 8x10.
Has been used for paper negative photography on a Toyo 8x10 and was fully functional.
You can enjoy the soft rendering unique to uncoated lenses.
* Lens cap is missing.
* There are scratches and paint loss on the exterior.
Ideal for classic portraits and wet plate photography.
