This is a wonderful antique Halloween postcard featuring a black cat in a witch hat with broom and a group of dressed mice trying to roll a giant pumpkin. Charming early artwork with anthropomorphic animals and great seasonal imagery. The card is postmarked October 27, 1906, Cincinnati Ohio and has a one-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp. Addressed and written message on back. Typical edge wear and light age-toning expected for a postcard over 115 years old, but overall a beautiful survivor and fantastic display piece for Halloween collectors and antique postcard lovers.
