A professional 9" hand-thrown studio pottery stoneware canister by the Fishley Holland family (Clevedon/Dunster Pottery). This modernist piece features a tapered cylindrical body with prominent horizontal throwing rings. The exterior is finished in a variegated moss green glaze that transitions to a matte, iron-oxide reddish-brown base.
The inset lid includes a flared knob handle with an impressed circular workshop mark containing three horizontal lines. The base is signed with the characteristic incised "FH" mark. The interior is fully glazed in a contrasting rust-brown tone.
