An excellent pair of Vintage cufflinks from the iconic Tiffany and Co.! Crafted in sterling silver, these bold cufflinks have an excellent nautical-inspired design. The face of each is formed by a flat, round plaque, which displays seven brightly colored enameled sailor flags. Each flag symbolizes a different letter of the alphabet, and in the code used for maritime flag signaling, the arrangement of flags cheekily spells out the word "TIFFANY." The cufflinks have hinged airplane backs, and the underside of each face is stamped with the Tiffany & Co. signature and the hallmark of ".925." A fabulous pair of cufflinks by an exceptional company, they are very versatile and would look excellent worn by a woman or man, particularly a nautical enthusiast!
Each cufflink's round face has a diameter of 7/8" and is 1/16" thick. The airplane backs measure 3/4" wide, and the space between the backs and the face measures 1/2" long.
