The jeans use denim made on the "phantom power loom," the Toyoda Automatic Loom "GL3." This loom allows for the warp threads to be woven at an extremely low tension, and it is one of the oldest looms in Japan.

Only a few of these looms still exist, and they require adjustment by skilled craftsmen, making them difficult to operate. Captivated by the unique expression only this GL3 can create, they succeeded in reviving it after much effort.

This denim jacket, which condenses the unique Japanese machinery and the skills of craftsmen, is a source of pride for Japan.

This 14oz denim made with G3 has a "unique unevenness" and "rough texture" that appears on the surface, making it almost indistinguishable from vintage denim. In addition, the heavy 14oz denim fabric is woven loosely with an ultra-low tension warp, resulting in a finish that is soft, similar to hand-woven fabric.
