Up for sale or best offer is a Vintage/Antique 1950's Men's Valet/Butler Set in all original Solid Mahogany Wood. This valet is in original condition and includes two brass ties hooks on either side which can be retracted and the skid strip on the top. There is a shoe rack on the bottom. Overall, it is in very nice condition with no major flaws, gouges, or scratches. There is very little wear on some parts with some minor marks. Towards the bottom on the feet, there are a few small dings from moving/wear over the years.It measures 42" tall and 19" wide on the shirt rack.Stamped in gold is "SPQR Made in Italy" on the wood cufflink tray. Also there is a Capitoline Wolf Emblem that was inspired by the legend of the founding of Rome. SPQR refers to the government of the Ancient Roman Republic and is still used an as official emblem of the modern day municipality of Rome. On the very bottom, the words, 'Made in Italy' are also engraved in the wood (see picture).
