SOUNDWAY, the UK label that has spread valuable AFRICA music to the world and is popular with world music fans and rare groove DJs, has finally entered Asia!!

As the first release in Asia, the country is THAILAND, which is now attracting attention from DJs and border collectors all over the world!!

This work was compiled by Thai DJ MAFT SAI, who is now attracting attention as a rare groove DJ, CHRIS MENIST, a British man living in Bangkok who holds events with MAFT SAI, and SOUNDWAY's boss MILES.

They have collected LPs and 7-inch records from all over Thailand for many years and included them, and almost all of them are being released on CD for the first time, which is a great pleasure for Thai music lovers. It includes WAIPOT PHETSUPHAN, DAO BANDON, and ONUMA SINGSIRI, who are familiar to Thai music freaks, as well as PETCH PHIN THONG, a famous backing band that can be called the Thai version of the Revolutionaries.

From Luk Krung (urban music) and Luk Thung (country music), which were influenced by Western JAZZ and rock, 19 songs (20 songs on analog!) have been selected with a SOUND WAY-like approach.

With the momentum of discovering Thai music not stopping, such as the US SUBLIME FREQUENCIES, Sweden's SUBLIMINAL SOUNDS, and Thai DJ MAFT SAI, who is spreading Thai music from the local area, this compilation by SOUND WAY is a masterpiece.
