Luxurious French-made couture caftan gown by Marcy & Co, sold through Saks Fifth Avenue. Fluid ivory knit gown with a detachable sheer chiffon sash that drapes from the crystal-trimmed shoulder, allowing it to be styled multiple ways. Features rhinestone shoulder embellishment, dramatic dolman sleeves with couture buttoned cuffs, and an elegant mock-neck silhouette. The floating sash creates a Grecian goddess effect and gives the piece true runway movement. Rare archival Saks boutique piece made in France, originally retailing over $250 in the late 1970s–80s.
