Neu!, the band formed in Düsseldorf, West Germany in 1971 by Klaus Dinger and Michael Rother, who were members of Kraftwerk. This box set commemorates the 50th anniversary of their first album, released in 1972. In addition to the three original albums (the CD box also includes the re-edited work "Neu! 86"), co-produced by the legendary Conny Plank, it includes a tribute album featuring reworks and remixes of Neu! numbers by Mogwai, New Order's Stephen Morris, The National, and Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor. Furthermore, it includes a stencil using the debut album's striking logo and a wealth of valuable photos.
