This is the 2nd album by Sequence, who debuted under the guidance of Sylvia Robinson and are recognized as the oldest female rap group!

It's well-known that Angie Stone, who later became famous for releasing wonderful neo-soul works from the late 90s and is also known as D'Angelo's ex-wife (?), was a member!

Side 1-2 is a funk track with a bassline very similar to Staple Singers' "I'll Take You There," featuring handclaps and a drum break!

Side 1-3 is a groovy party tune like P-Funk with rap!

Side 2-4, with synths and horns, is also a danceable disco track!

Although it's packed with cool dance tracks, many soul fans buy it for the ballad on side 2-2, where you can enjoy the young Angie Stone's vocals.
It's a cover of the famous song by MOTHER'S FINEST, which has been a duet standard in the R&B world!
