This is the out-of-print Showa-era drama "Golden Dog" DVD-BOX (4-disc set).
As this product is 15 years old, the outer box has scratches, dents on the corners, and minor imperfections (see images 6 and 7), but the DVDs themselves appear to be in good condition with no scratches.

Synopsis:
Kitamori, an environmental protection officer, lives with his daughter Reiko. Kitamori takes his beloved dog Goro to Hokkaido for bear hunting, but is killed in a sudden attack by a brown bear. Goro, left with his other owner, Reiko, sets out for Tokyo, driven by his homing instinct. Meanwhile, Reiko, now alone in the world, also sets out on a journey to find the missing Goro. As they search for each other, they become entangled in ugly incidents involving humans...
