This is a beautiful blue-navy knit.
A double-name collaboration between Aquascutum, a long-established British brand, and John Smedley.
I was told by the shop staff that it was a special order for John Smedley.
It's made of merino wool, but it's 30-gauge, so it's finely knit. It doesn't have a glossy or fluffy feel in a good way, so it seems like it would go well not only with wool pants but also with jeans. It's great that there are a wide range of pants options.

It has the easy fit typical of John Smedley, and the raglan sleeves have a subtle jacquard stitch. It's elegant. This is where it differs from John Smedley's in-line products. I usually wear a size L, but for someone in their 50s, it's a perfect fit, not an easy fit. *cries*

It's thin, so you can wear it over a shirt and put on a jacket. You can wear it at the office on weekdays. The quality is clearly superior, so people around you will think, "That's a nice sweater you're wearing."

As mentioned above, it's designed to be worn under a jacket, so please consider it as a Japanese M size. It's not a design with a lot of room in the width.
