Vintage Ming's Honolulu Hawaii Ivory Plumeria Pin, circa 1940s. Pre-ban ivory, and a rare find by Ming’s Honolulu. Very good vintage condition for a tiny chip on the edge of a petal, and two pin size black dots (probably cleanable) on another petal, both are not noticeable when wearing it. Diameter about 1 5/8”.
About Ming’s Jewelry: It was one of the premier jewelers in Hawaii from the 1940s to the 1990s, appreciated by local patrons, tourists and international collectors, not only for its fine craftsmanship, original designs, and splendid jades and pearls, but also for its pieces’ unique artistic interpretation of Hawaii.
