U.S. Military Surplus
An aviator bag issued to U.S. Air Force (USAF) pilots.
Also known as a parachute bag.
The shell was changed to nylon from the mid-1980s onwards, but this is the older canvas model.
Clearly marked with "May 1963" and a U.S. blue stamp.
Considering its age, there is very little fading or staining, and I believe it is in overwhelmingly good condition compared to other items from the same era that are rarely seen.
Judging from the condition of the zipper tabs, bottom, and corners, it appears to have been hardly used.
