This is a beautiful example of a Victorian Coconut. This little trinket keepers were extremely popular in the Victorian era, circa 1837 to 1901.
This one is in great antique condition, with the wear being show consistent with it's great age. It features a black leather lined interior, which still looks amazing. Along with the adorable claw feet and brass strap closure, this is a wonderful statement piece.
Measuring approximately 6 inches tall by 6 inches wide, with the inside at 4 inches at the widest point.
