Extremely rare, this is a US ARMY M45 overcoat, a field parka.
It closely resembles the USAF M47, but features alpaca boa lining the hood, making it the prototype for the later M51 Mod coat and M65 parka.
The shell is luxuriously made with double-layered cotton poplin.
As it's an overcoat, the tag is missing, but based on experience, it's likely a "MEDIUM" size. Please refer to the actual measurements.
The condition is not bad considering its age, but the "コの字" bell-shaped Conmar zipper has a missing tooth in one place.
See images 7, 8, and 9. Those familiar with vintage items can still open and close it as shown in the images, but it's recommended to wear it using the front buttons.
There is a repair on the left side of the front, only on the surface of the double-layered fabric, not penetrating through. It's been pinched and sewn. There are also repair marks on the left sleeve (images 12-14).
There is a stain on the lower left back (image 16).
The alpaca liner and waist belt are missing.
This is a very rare and scarce overcoat field parka.
For those who understand VINTAGE, military items, and used clothing, thank you.
Size (approximate): Length: 98cm; Width: 55cm; Shoulder width: 51cm; Sleeve length: 64.5cm.
