Nathan Taylor Woven Basket Fruit Bowl by Basketville. RARE rattan cane basket designed by Nathan Taylor, a world renown master basket maker and expert on early American basketry. Taylor taught the Basketville craftsmen to make these baskets using traditional materials, rattan cane and signature hardware with New England ash wood. The brass button at the base of the basket is stamped Nathan Taylor by Basketville and attached with wooden peg. A stunning basket.
Estate find in very good condition. The woven cane is tight with no damage. Minor scratches to lash cane on trim. Measurements approximate - 10.5" D; 4" H
