Beautiful white fit and flare dress. Would be perfect for a wedding! With its fitted bodice and layered skirt, the silhouette appears very 1950s. The dress is definitely vintage, exact age unknown.
No maker or size tags. It is very small, so please pay close attention to measurements. Approximate measurements (taken laying flat): 13.5 across at bust, 10 across at waistline. 13 from shoulder strap to waistline, 38 total length measured from top of shoulder strap to center front of bottom hemline. Shoulder straps are approximately 1 5/8" wide. Zipper closure at center back.
Design features several strips of white lace accents. Skirt is built in 4 layers (sheer overskirt, layer of netting, silky lining, plain fabric lining), giving it lots of beautiful volume. I love how many textures are built into this dress!
Very nice condition for its age. A couple of 1/4" diameter brown stains on the waistline and skirt. Some minor yellowing in underarms. I have not attempted any stain removal.
