Marquetry Involves cutting and assembling thin veneers (wood slices) into a flat panel, often like a jigsaw puzzle, using different wood grains, colors, and even dyed woods for effect. This wonderful mirror has a swivel top that opens to the mirror … the base is rosewood with an inlaid marquetry ladies’ head composed of six unique woods. The piece has chamfered corners and a light wood inlaid border. The round mirror is beveled. Excellent vintage condition measures 2.5 x 2.5 .. smoke and pet free
