Antique genuine Victorian, made in the USA by PNCW (Progress Novelty Casting Works, Long Island, NY) in the 1940s.
Gorgeous dainty ornate footed brass trinket dish with removable glass bowl insert. Approx 6.5” wide. Can be used for trinkets, jewelry, house keys, candy, or even a stand for a planter!
Stunning floral etching around the entire bowl, and 3 tiny ornate feet. Perfectly level.
Cut glass bowl insert with a starburst pattern. PNCW made many of these trinket dishes with divided glass bowls (in 3 small sections), but bowls with one large section are hard to come by. This dish is truly a work of art!
Brass left untouched but would shine up beautifully with a bit of Brasso. Very small puncture towards the upper rim of the back of the dish, a fraction of an inch in size. Virtually unnoticeable and does not affect the function or beauty of this piece.
