For sale is this stunning antique Nagoya Shofu Nippon Moriage Chocolate Pot with a heavy moriage gold gilt Dragon (5 toes) with a lime Green design at the top edge. This beautiful raised dragon design wraps all around the pitcher. This piece stands approx. 7.5" high to the top of the pour spout and 5-1/4" across the base. This piece is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The pot originally had a lid, but without the lid is still a beautiful piece! It would also make a gorgeous vase! There is some very light gold wear on the handle, the spout and of the gold trim around the bottom circumference of the pot. Also some creamy yellow areas on the watercolor porcelain from the manufacturing process that appears to be part of the design. Very clean inside and out!
