1930s Wahl-Eversharp Mechanical Pencil, Gold Filled, Ultra-Rare 3mm Lead

This is a mechanical pencil made by the Eversharp company, manufactured around the 1930s.

The engraving is located between the top crown and the clip and reads:

WAHL EVERSHARP
GOLD FILLED MADE IN U.S.A.

There is also a name engraving.
Total length: approximately 134mm
Shaft diameter: approximately 7.5mm

The condition is clean, but there are some scratches, and a name engraving. There is no corrosion on the tip components. Please check the images carefully.
The lead advance mechanism also functions correctly.
I believe this is in quite good condition for a piece that is nearly 100 years old.

The biggest feature of this item is that it uses 3mm leads, rather than the more common 1.18mm leads.
It's more of a lead holder than a mechanical pencil.
I wrote that it is rare, and in fact, I have never seen another one.
The 1.18mm version seems to have been a hit at the time, and there is a lot of information and a large number of them still exist. However, as far as I have researched, this particular model has no information available, including contemporary documents, internet searches, reviews, or listings and sales history on sites like eBay.
Surprisingly, as you can see in the images, not only the tip but also the internal structure is completely different from the 1.18mm version.

This is a used item owned by an individual, so please examine the images carefully. Please refrain from bidding if you are overly concerned about condition or do not understand vintage items.
