Vtg B&L Ray-Ban Balorama – early production BL-etched lenses (no model number)

This pair of Rayban sunglasses are in mostly very good condition, but there are a few scratches or marks that are invisible to the naked eye, and can only be seen very close up. The lens are clear of scratches, but there is some very mild wear and tear on the front of the glasses, and slightly around the lenses, as indicated in the photos. Also there a few very small marks on the top of the glasses on the top left side, also indicated in the photos. The B&L Etchings are shown on both lenses in the pictures.

This is an earlier-production vintage Bausch & Lomb Balorama (pre–lens/pre-1990's code era). Unlike later versions etched with ‘L2870,’ this pair features only the original ‘BL’ etched glass lenses — a hallmark of the earliest runs. Collectors prize these for their rarity and authentic 1970s styling.
