Platinum over 22k acid tested confirmed.
marked 18k-no gold standards til 1980s so this is passing 22k not 18k. fails for Sterling.
**Let me explain things**
*the color you see across the base of the band is indicative of a white rhodium plate across the entire ring or at least the exterior, as a scratch of rhodium will reveal an orange . This is normal and can be buffed out I buffed it out mostly. See photo of my David yurman 18k I scratched! :) shows the same***

Gold this high in carat can display slight magnet play due to potential additives like nickel silver etc in small amounts to harden plat & 24kgold for jewelry. GOLD WILL NOT LIFT with a very high powered magnet. but it can move slightly! This ring displays magnetic play slightly (My 22k San Marco bracelet also has slight magnetic characters.
