This is an early Polo Bear sweater, one of the most popular among Ralph Lauren collectors.
The size is XL.
It is likely a reproduction of the original released in 1992, and I believe it was reproduced in the mid-1990s.
It has a HAND KNIT tag, which is proof of being hand-knitted.
While USA-made and Singapore-made items were famous until the mid-90s, the HAND KNIT line, which is a high-end hand-knitted line, was mainly made in China.
There are a few loose threads, but the knit condition is quite good, and there is no fading, so I think it's rare to find a better one than this.
