This is a half-zip knit from BALLANTYNE, a long-established knitwear brand from Scotland, founded in 1921.

Known as a prestigious cashmere brand, this item is a very rare heavy-weight cotton knit.

It has a firm knit and a clear sense of weight that you wouldn't expect from cotton. You rarely come across cotton knits of this level.

With this type of cotton knit, the ribbing tends to be loose, and the hem and sleeves often stretch out after repeated wear, but this item is densely knitted, and the ribbing stays in place.

The color is white, almost pure white. You don't often find knits that are this white.

The silhouette is oversized, and despite the weight, it drapes very beautifully.

The zipper is made by LAMPO, a high-end Italian zipper manufacturer. The construction is impeccable down to the details.
