Antique Painted Cloth Doll c.1910–1925 – Original Clothing – Excellent Condition

Offered is a early 20th-century painted cloth doll, dating to approximately 1910–1925. The doll features a finely hand-painted face on woven cloth, with expressive blue eyes, softly blushed cheeks, and delicately painted hair. The paint shows excellent preservation with no cracking or repainting.

The doll has a traditional cloth body with painted cloth arms and hands, showing early construction methods typical of the Edwardian to World War I era. She is dressed in her original cotton dress and bonnet, trimmed with period lace, and retains her early shoes. An antique-style brooch is attached to the clothing (considered an accessory).

Condition is very good to excellent for age, with mainly clean fabric, intact stitching, and no major tears or repairs observed. A particularly well-preserved example of an increasingly hard-to-find cloth doll.

Unmarked, as is typical for dolls of this type and period.
