From Vanishing West, these are jeans based on vintage mid-war jeans, the "S601XX 1944-45" model.
Size 38: Waist 92cm, Thigh 35cm, Hem width 24cm, Inseam 83cm, Rise 35cm
The manufacturer has already washed them, but there is still a possibility of slight shrinkage. Also, due to the nature of denim, there may be some stretching as you wear them.
The fabric uses original 14oz indigo denim, with thick count threads (original yarn) for the warp and slub yarn for the weft, resulting in the ultimate jeans that pursue the atmosphere of 1940s XX vintage jeans. In addition, we have developed and used a fabric that shrinks and has longer vertical fading compared to the two other models.
The silhouette is an intermediate silhouette between the 1947 model and the 1951 model, with a tapered silhouette from the knee to the hem like the 47 model.
The fabric uses 14oz original denim fabric, dyed in a slightly darker color than the 1943, 47, and 51 models, with a stronger unevenness in the warp. The fabric pursues "stickiness" and "springiness," making it resistant to losing its shape and returning to its original form even if the knees stretch out after washing.
Hidden rivets use the original iron dome type, which was used until around 1946 after the war.
The back pocket tab is a single-sided rayon specification, and the stitches on both sides are long.
There is also attention to detail in the parts, with original buttons, rivets, and stitching.
The back pockets are designed to be slightly wider towards the bottom, and the back belt loop is attached in the center.
The coin pocket on the right side pocket has red selvage on the back.
The back pocket reinforcement rivets on the inside of the jeans use round, thick hidden rivets, which will show good abrasion the more you wear them.
A red tag with "V.WEST" is attached to the right back pocket, and it will gradually curl up as you wear them.
The side outseam is a vintage specification, with red selvage. This area will also show wear and tear on the surface as you wear them.
