This is a listing for Hanafuda (Hachi-Hachi Hana) made by Yamashiro Yosaburo (Yama-Yo) of Kyoto, believed to have been manufactured in the early Showa era.
This is a type of Hanafuda made by Yama-Yo that is particularly distinctive in its design, and it is the type with "Made by Yama-Yo" written on Fuji-fuda (wisteria cards) instead of Kiri-fuda (paulownia cards).
The box has black markings, but the cards are red-backed.

Considering its age, it is in relatively good condition, but please understand that this is a product from 70-80 years ago before purchasing.
