There are several other thin M-mount 28mm prime lenses, but most have a larger aperture or lack focus adjustment. I believe there is great value in the full functionality and this thinness.
※ Of course, this is a manual focus lens, so even with full functionality, you cannot use features like autofocus.
It appears to be made of brass with black lacquer paint.
I think you can enjoy the aging process as the paint wears off with use.
