The 555 stamp on the back of the top button indicates that it was manufactured at the Valencia factory in the United States between 1996 and 2003. The Valencia factory closed in 2003, so its rarity has increased, making it very popular. This item is a LEVI'S S501XX wartime model, and among the 501s with a long history, the model manufactured from 1942 to 1946 during World War II is a slightly more niche model, also known as the "WWII (World War II) model."
