While there is some aging, the text and CD are in good condition. The case (especially the inner cushion) is damaged.
Dogen, who lived through the turbulent Kamakura period, single-mindedly pursued the true Buddhist teachings. This work traces his life and thought through his writings, such as the Shobogenzo. In commemoration of the 750th anniversary of his death in 2002, we will learn about the need for consciousness reform and a shift in values from his profound thoughts.
This CD is by Master Tsunoda, who has published many books on Dogen, and is currently difficult to obtain.
The complete set of text and CD is considered valuable.
