Based on a 1910s American cardigan.
There is a photo of two men wearing newsboy caps and a double-breasted, collarless cardigan with two rows of buttons, which is believed to have been taken in the United States in the 1910s. The details of this cardigan are often seen in French workwear, but the photo itself was reportedly taken in America. The visible parts were extracted as much as possible, and the fine specifications and silhouette were redesigned based on the brand's interpretation. The yarn used is spun using silk noil. Silk noil is the waste cotton left over after raw silk and silk spun yarn are taken from the cocoon, and it is characterized by its unique unevenness and neps. It contains a large amount of air, providing warmth, and also excels in moisture absorption and release, which are properties of silk.
