~Seibei's Memo~

A must-have for Rollins fans!
His commemorative first leader work! You can't move forward without listening to this... It's no exaggeration to call it a masterpiece ^ ^
It's pure Rollins, as he flies through catchy melodies like he's humming, but then "In the sentimental mood" is a calm, mature ballad.
Sandwiched between the up-tempo songs, it stands out even more...
And there's even something to make you go "huh?"
On the last track of the album, "I know," Miles Davis is somehow on piano, lol.

The original jacket is the famous orange cover with a misprinted number. In the end, I like this yellow jacket better, it's cooler ^ ^

Title | Sonny Rollins With The Modern Jazz Quartet
Artist | Sonny Rollins
Label | Prestige
Country | US Original (1956)

Condition | Jacket: EX-/ Vinyl: Side A EX/ Side B EX

Jacket = hairline crack, the bottom opening of the jacket has been repaired. There's a tear of about 1cm at the top, so there's some wear and tear, but the cool yellow jacket still looks good.

*The records with scratches are intentionally photographed with light to make them more visible.
Side A = Slight spots. Light scratches, fine hairline scratches, but no noticeable scratches, it's in the category of a beautiful item.

Side B = Similar to Side A. No noticeable scratches, it's in the category of a beautiful item.

Back noise EX
There's only the occasional dust typical of records, and no repeated noise, so you can fully enjoy the early Rollins' rough but soulful tenor ^ ^
