In early summer, an unofficial audio source was uploaded to YouTube, leading to a surge of access from overseas, and it has since reached 2.6 million views. This is a sample version of the mini-album "SONS OF 1973" by Satellite Lovers (released in 1996).
This second work shows a slight change in the musical direction compared to their first album "MUSIC" (1994). The approachable melody lines and the familiar voice of Mika Ikeuchi are likely reasons for its popularity, contrasting with the overseas rare groove and free soul music.
I noticed some stains on the top of the back cover, so I put on gloves and opened the cellophane wrapping to check. I found that the jacket itself has no stains. I haven’t touched anything else, but it is described as "close to unused."
