Levi's 501 Made in USA Deadstock, manufactured February 1997, 31 inch

Levi's 501, deadstock of the final US-made model. Unused, unwashed, and with the original tags. Manufactured in February 1997. Waist 31 inches, length 36 inches, which is a longer length. I believe this is a size that can be worn by many people.

What's noteworthy is the top button back marked "501," which is rare to find. While the "501" marking is often seen on fakes, the fakes use a cast "501" stamp (meaning all buttons made have the "501" marking). However, the authentic ones have the factory number stamped after the button is made, so the appearance is clearly different. The factory number also matches the inner tag. Please check the images.

The white tag in the first image is the tag from the store where it was purchased (turned over). It has been left as is since the purchase, and will be shipped as is.

There is a theory that rigid US-made 501s have "501xx" on the paper patch, but this is not always the case, and models with only "501" are also present. This item is proof of that.
