The Saturday drama "She Died." aired on NTV from January 17 to March 13, 2004.
Yukari (Yoshino Kimura), a woman he only spent one night with, died! The protagonist, Hajime (Tomoya Nagase), is visited by her younger sister, Reiko (Kyoko Fukada), a college student who is not good at socializing, and Yoshio (Teruyuki Kagawa), a sushi chef who claims to be Yukari's fiancé and is full of trivia. The strange trio sets out to visit people based on the memory of Yukari's cell phone...
――Why!? On a journey to find the reason for her death, the three mediocre people who were living half-heartedly come to know the value of their everyday lives and are reborn... A sad but funny story set in Shonan, told with a comedic touch.
The script is by Nobuyuki Isshiki, a screenwriter who represents Japanese cinema, with his skill and popularity, known for "Take Me Skiing" and "Let's Go to the Hospital!"
