This "Made in USA 1946 Model" was planned to commemorate the 55th anniversary of Toyo Enterprises. The 1946 model jeans and jackets, commonly known as "46 (Yonroku)", were made during the transition period from the "War Model," which had restrictions on the use of fabrics and parts due to wartime material controls, to the "1947 Model," which featured luxurious specifications with attention to detail after the war restrictions were lifted. Due to their rough construction and rarity, which combined wartime and postwar details, they are currently attracting a lot of attention in the vintage market. Sugar Cane, based on a valuable deadstock of 1946 501XX kept as an archive, is particular about being made in America, and has realistically reproduced not only the details of each part but also the rough construction of the time, finishing it as a garment that exudes a vintage-like atmosphere.
