A special rayon gabardine shirt from the 40s-50s.
It has a smooth, heavy gabardine weave fabric.
The color is a beige close to white, a good color that combines a rustic feel with elegance.
Because it's beige, it's easy to match with various clothes, and the delicate design, such as the draped fabric and the way the pleats fall, gives it an ennui and elegant atmosphere.
What's noteworthy is the hand stitching in the sixth photo.
Usually, it's only applied to the collar and flaps, but this piece has it along the outline of the pockets, making it a special piece.
I've asked various vintage clothing stores, but no one has seen this kind of stitching before, so it's likely to be a custom-made order from the time.
All the shell buttons are intact, and there is some damage to the shoulders (photo 9), but there are no stains or burns, and the condition is very good.
The brand and size are unknown due to the missing tag, but based on the remaining tag traces and thread color, it's likely Pilgrim or National.
I estimate the size to be 15-15 1/2.
