Chibikko Mate is a miniature dress-up doll series released by the former Takara in 1969, with a height of about 10cm.
It was developed with the concept of "a doll that can be carried anywhere, anytime" as a compact version of the then-popular "Licca-chan."
The characters include Chii-chan, as well as her older sister Kei-chan, tomboy Teko-chan, sentimental Sacchan, Ton-chan, and Toru-kun.

The Pretty Series of Chibikko Mate was born as a separate concept series.
While Chibikko Mate has a concept of the realistic everyday world...
The Pretty Series has a concept of a fairy-tale-like, whimsical world.
