EXTREMELY RARE!! Wearable pieces of history, an amazing pair of Victorian earrings dating from the 1880s. These made of exquisitely Whitby Jet extremely light featuring cresent moons and dangling stars, in true Victorian fashion.
****I have only ever been able to find 2 Similar pairs, and will include screenshots of those as reference.
The earrings have beautiful etched filigree style details, and little mustache shaped tops.
They are crafted from 10k Rose Gold. The backs are yellow gold in color and were soldered on, using silver as the soldering material. The job was done exceptionally well also! These are possibly handmade, and may have been converted from pierced earrings or a charm necklace into screwback earrings in years long past!
