Excellent Condition French Vintage Leather Jacket
(Commonly known as the Corbusier Jacket)
This is a "Corbusier Jacket," one of the iconic pieces of French vintage fashion.
Originally, these leather coats were supplied to state-owned companies and government agencies. They became known as the "Corbusier Jacket" because they were famously worn by Le Corbusier, one of the three giants of modern architecture.
This particular jacket is a rare black leather type with a navy wool collar, even in France. (It is said that Corbusier himself wore the navy wool collar type.)
While there are some minor scuffs, it is in very good condition for a vintage leather coat.
Its rarity will likely increase its value, and the price will continue to rise. (Vintage shops sell them for over 150,000 yen.)
