For sale is the 5th generation Tamron SP 90mm F2.5 TELE MACRO BBAR MC (72B), released in 1996.
Affectionately known as "Tam-Q" and also called the "Portrait Macro," this is a medium telephoto lens that can also be used for portrait photography. It generally uses a modified Gauss-type optical system, known for its soft rendering. It's a compact lens with a versatile design, suitable for both medium telephoto and macro photography, making it easy to use.

The 3rd and 4th generations were more popular as portrait lenses than macro lenses, so they had AF (autofocus). The 72B is the last manual focus lens. The lens design was changed to make it lighter and easier to handle.
